Poker Nights

Poker nights take place every Tuesday 8:30pm start - nice friendly play. £4 buy-in

New - Sunday poker night. more chips, faster pace, more £££ for first place. £5 buy-in. - 1st Sunday of every month.

Laurel & Hardy

Our Laurel & Hardy nights are on the second Wednesday of every month. 7:30pm - 10:30pm. We usually show a selection of talkies and feature films, with the occasional silent and even early solo shorts filmed before the duo were paired.

Rock Night ~ Redneck Rampage~

Join us on the last wednesday of the month for our brand new Rock Night. We got over 70 people down to the last one and everyone left satisfied. With our 2 resident DJ's your needs for classic rock, rock & roll, blues, country and metal will be satisfied fully. click the pic to check out their website.

 

Acoustic jam night

The last Friday of the month is out acoustic jam night - bring an instrument or just your voice and join in with our resident musicians.

Film from 7:30pm until 10:30pm
Screening a selection of black & white classics; some silent and some ‘talkies’.  All films are themed on Christmas or snow.

Back with us after only 2 months, this 5-piece rock band from St Helens offer 4 seasoned musicians, a female lead vocalist and a passion for the music that’ll draw you in immediately.

Formally The Spikes, The More are a five-piece from Leyland, female lead singer Anna and the rest of the band will entertain us with energetic rock & roll.

Traditional Mummers Play

The Thelwall Morris Men will be down to perform a traditional mummers play starting about 8:30pm. If you haven' seen (or heard of) a Mummers Play, it is a very traditional play harking back to the early 18th centuary. these plays usually last about 25 minutes

Dave & Andy’s Disco-Karaoke from 9pm
A selection of hits from our resident DJ’s and featuring the ever-popular ‘Stitch-Up Karaoke’

Lazy Rivers Jazz Band
A 5-piece traditional jazz band who have gone down here really well 3 times now, return to lighten up a gloomy Sunday evening.  To kick-start our 5-day beer festival they’ll be playing from around 5pm

~ Redneck Rampage – The Rock Night ~
The last Wednesday of the month is home to our latest
‘Good Beer & Good Music’ night, our rock night.  Our 2 veteran rock DJ’s playing a range of classic rock music (and everything around the edges) from 8pm until midnight.
This month’s rock night is right in the middle of our Beer Festival!

New Years Eve - Hotwire
A fantastic live rock band Hotwire return to perform their enthusiastic selection of modern and classic rock.  This is a FREE-ENTRY performance and a hot-pot supper will be provided free of charge.  Wally’s Play yer cards right and a raffle in aid of the carnival fund.  Very, very late bar!
